The Israel Air Line Pilots Association (ISRALPA) invites you to participate in the Israel Aviation Conference 2019.

The international aviation market is one of the most significant growth engines in the world.

In recent years and in the future to come we are experiencing significant changes of growth, innovation and modernization.

Aviation is an intercontinental bridge and the end of a shipping line in an online consumer world.

Israel is a world leader in the development of advanced technologies in the air, sea, land and cyber, for decades Israel has been operating an extensive aviation and security industry.

The world looks up to the technological ecosystem of the local industries and to the innovation in the civilian and military fields.

The Israel Aviation Conference 2019 will discuss the set of tools required to maintain our leading position in world aviation from a human and technological aspect.

The conference is the main aviation opportunity in Israel, as a world leading place, to provide a platform for the various partners and let them  take  a part in progress, innovation and modernization.

ABOUT

The conference will discuss the core issues of the aviation world in the present era, facing the future and will present the forefront of knowledge and innovation in the field.

We will focus on the technologies and strategies to confront the new challenges, among them: safety and security, cyber threats, UAVs, training , employment processes, and more.

We will discuss infrastructure issues, civil flights ,the connection between civil aviation and the military aviation.

All the above while looking at the future of aviation in the coming years, from a global and local perspective.

Chemi Peres

Managing General Partner and Co-Founder of Pitango, one of Israel’s leading Venture Capital Groups with over $2 Billion under management.  He serves on the Board of Directors boards of Pitango portfolio companies such as Taboola, Via Transportation, RADWIN, TEVA Pharmaceutical and more. Chairing the Advisory Board of Impact 1st Fund and as a board member at Social Finance Israel,Israel social impact bonds platform. Chairman of the Peres Center for Peace & Innovation. Holds a BSc. degree in Industrial Engineering & Management and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.Served as a pilot in the IAF. 

Maj-Gen. (Ret.) Avihu Bin Nun

11th commander of the Israel Air Force
Conceived and founded the UMI Ltd., the General Motors R&D center in Israel, and "Israel First" 
in conjunction with the Technion.
Served on the board of directors of Cardan, Elbit Systems, and Bank Mizrahi, served as President of the NGO supporting the IAF, President of the Israel Vehicle Importers Association, Vice President of the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce, and more.
Holds an MBA with honors from Auburn University, Alabama, graduated from the advanced Management Program at Harvard, and was awarded an honorary doctorate from the Technion

Amos Shapira

Formerly the CEO of El Al, CEO of Cellcom, CEO of Hogla-Kimberley, and President of the University of Haifa. 
Currently the Chairman of ALUT—The Israeli Society for Children and Adults with Autism.
Served on the board of directors of the Israel Aerospace Industries and Elran Investments Ltd.
Holds an MBA in Economics and an MA of Industrial Management from the Technion.
Holds a civil aviation license.

Meir Shamir

C.E.O and principal stockholder of Mivtach Shamir holdings Ltd. a public company traded on the Tel Aviv stock exchange. Serves as a director in companies of Mivtach Shamir group. Founded a philanthropic foundation that deals with various fields of welfare within the framework of Israeli society.Chairman of the board of "Taglit" (Birthright Israel), a Zionist organization active in strengthening the connection between Diaspora Jewry and Israel. A graduate of the Business & Economics Administration from Bar Ilan university, received      an honorary doctorate from the University in 2009. Served as a navigator in the IAF as a Major.
